Margie is an internationally experienced executive, with a career spanning 20 Years with Mars Incorporated – serving 5 years as the CEO of the Mars Food (Masterfoods) with over 12 years practice as a non- executive director.
Margie is an experienced professional non-executive Director sitting on the Board of Bapcor, $1.4bn market cap, New Castle Permanent Building Society, and chairs private boards of Stuart Alexander, Bagtrans and Southern Hospitality Ltd- a New Zealand enterprise. Her previous roles were with Fantastic Furniture, NSW Crown lands, Central Coast water Board and Agrifood skills.
She has a broad CEO/commercial background with senior roles in Supply chain, procurement and full P&L responsibility for a Food manufacturing business, with over 500 people and a $300m plus turnover.
Margie has chaired Remuneration and governance committees and is currently members of Audit, risk and Remuneration committees. Margie is a member of Chief executive women, Women on Boards a Fellow of the AICD. She is a past AICD chair mentoring graduate and is a qualified Secondary teacher, with an Arts degree from Auckland university.
