Lindy is an experienced non-executive director and board committee member working in the financial services and not-for-profit sectors. She is currently an External Member of Capital Group Investment Management Limited’s Compliance Committee and an Independent Member of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee of Oxfam Australia and the Governance Committee of Lifeline Australia. She is also a trustee of a privately run Australian Equity Portfolio.
Lindy was formerly Executive-Director, Head of Legal & Compliance at UBS Global Asset Management (Australia) Ltd. With over 27 years commercial legal experience, including over 17 years in senior management in financial services/ funds management, Lindy has a comprehensive understanding of the superannuation industry and the mandate, duties and responsibilities of trustees, the regulatory environment within which they operate and the administration of schemes. She has a holistic understanding of business, investments, compliance, risk, governance and operational matters.
Lindy is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors with 11 years experience as a director/ board committee member. She was one of 15 women nationwide nominated by Women on Boards (WOB) for inclusion in the Federal Government’s BoardLinks register in 2013 and is on the WOB Super Trustee List of trustee ready women.
